Rodrigo Molina Ortega y Asociados, is a law firm engaged in the professional exercise in the Areas of Commercial, Mercantile, Maritime, Civil, Laboral and Intellectual Property Law, representing important institutions, companies and corporations, nationally and internationally, emphasizing in maritime and financial agreements that imply registration of vessels, labor relations, investment opportunities, trademarks, corporations, local and offshore corporations and foundations, insurances, real estates, telecommunications, to mention some.

We have broad experience in all subjects related to Commercial and Mercantile Law, from the negotiation of contracts and agreements, financial and banking transactions, as well as organization of corporations and foundations, Panamanian and offshore in other jurisdictions.

Atty. Rodrigo Molina Ortega is the founder of Rodrigo Molina Ortega y Asociados.

Education: He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science in the University of Panama in 1980.
He obtained a Master’s Degree in Maritime Law (LL.M.) from the University of Tulane, in New Orleans, United States of America in 1983; and a Postgraduate study in Mediation and Arbitration from the International Institute of Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration of the University of Panama in 2003.

Positions: Presently he is Arbitrator and Conciliator of the Center of Conciliation and Arbitration of Panama (CECAP, in Spanish) of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama and the Center of Solution of Conflicts (CESCON, in Spanish).

Others: He has a Real-Estate Broker License and is fluent in the English and Spanish languages.

Organizations: Member of the National Bar Association, Maritime Law Association, Inter-American Federation of Lawyers and the International Association of Mediators and Arbitrators.
